The Ancestors of William Joseph THORLBY

Our Thorlbys originated in Helpringham a small Lincolnshire village and travelled south to London in the latter half of the 19C no doubt seeking better employment prospects. At the beginning of the 21C, my husband and I spent many happy hours retracing their footsteps back to his roots in Helpringham. Contact with Norman Weston of Spain in the year 2000 enabled me to link my research to his earliest proven ancestor William Thorlby of North Rauceby b c1650.
